Polina Malinovskaja

Polina comes from a wine background, but when she joined The Whisky Exchange in 2018, she dove into Scotch whisky and rum. Polina took over as manager of our Great Portland Street shop in 2022, and also advises our private clients on building their spirits collections.

Nelson Reis

Nelson joined The Whisky Exchange in 2022 after 14 years spent working in some of London's finest bars and restaurants. Nelson ventured into retail at our London Bridge store and later became assistant manager at Great Portland Street.

Valentin Hripko

Val has a lifelong love of American whiskey, and has recently also become a passionate advocate for emerging whisky scenes around Europe. As well as appreciating spirits, he is always ready to recommend the best beers from our extensive range.

Ed Bates

Ed is a world-class expert in Cognac and Armagnac, as well as Japanese whisky. He has been with The Whisky Exchange since 2011 and has also worked with Berry Bros. & Rudd and Chichibu distillery in Japan. Ed is also a Freeman of the City of London and a Mousquetaire d’Armagnac.
