Our exclusive annual Christmas whisky has landed! Specially selected to evoke all the classic flavours of the season, it's packed with dark fruit and spice as well as layers of sweet cherries, chocolate and nuts. Distilled at a secret, undisclosed Highland distillery and matured in a pair of first-fill oloroso sherry casks, it's all you could want from a Christmas dram. The perfect accompaniment to festive celebrations, or excellent just sipped with friends.

Each year we search high and low across Scotland's treasure-filled warehouses to find the perfect casks of whisky for A Good Old-Fashioned Christmas Whisky. This year we uncovered a parcel of 16-year-old Highland malt whisky aged in first-fill oloroso sherry casks, filled to the brim with all the tasting notes we associate with the festive season.     • Nose

      Classic Christmas flavours: rich fruitcake and a dusting of cocoa lead – chopped dates, raisin jam and glacé cherries with a handful of flaked almonds. Berry notes develop – black- and redcurrants – along with dark caramel and touches of tar. Brown sugar, brandy butter and brioche notes build sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg: luxurious cinnamon toast.

    • Palate

      The fruit from the nose leads, with raisins, dried cherries and dates leading into rich and decadent black treacle notes, dottes with bursts of cinnamon, nutmeg and Christmassy spice. An unexpected hit of mint chocolate leads to rich and gooey chocolate cake, sat next to a slice of Christmas pudding, covered in creamy brandy butter.

    • Finish

      Dates, raisins and blackcurrants linger, with black pepper and cinnamon spice fading. Candied lemon and orange peel notes develop.

    • We selected this Highland single malt for its old-fashioned sherry character and evocative notes of Christmas pudding, brandy butter, chocolate, nuts and warming spices.

    The perfect Christmas Whisky - rich, fruity and a beautiful colour! I will really struggle to resist the temptation to sample more of this one December 2025 is over, but I need to save some for next year!

    Very nice whisky. I buy the Christmas edition each year from the Whiskey exchange however I do find this year's not quite as fruity and flavorsome as last year. Was a little disappointed, but still a great whisky.

    Best “Good Old Fashioned” yet!

    Felt close enough to Christmas open my bottle this weekend, and what a great decision that was. Christmas in a bottle indeed, it’s going to be gone quickly.
