The Covent Garden Store is the oldest of our three central London locations. Since opening in 2015, it has become a go-to destination for fine spirits and wines, offering an unmatched range for all budgets. Its reputation stems from years of quality products and expert advice from our friendly, knowledgeable staff.


Though we’re The Whisky Exchange, our range extends beyond whisky. From Gin to Tequila, Rum to Champagne, we offer everything a drinks enthusiast needs for the perfect home bar. Our true speciality is Scotch Single Malt, especially our Old and Rare bottlings housed in the Whisky Cellar.


Our staff are ready to guide you through the world of distilleries and bottlings, sharing knowledge they have gathered over a lifetime in the industry. If you’re curious to know more, we offer Private Tastings after hours—your own exclusive whisky event in central London.

Hannah Boyle

Hannah's background in fine chocolates meant she took to the world of spirits with gusto, cultivating a particular interest in single malt whiskies, sparkling wines and – most recently – Pineau des Charentes. Hannah has been in the Covent Garden store since 2021 and has since taken over as store manager.

Duncan Ross

Duncan has forgotten more about whisky than most people learn in a lifetime, and is often found enthusiastically sharing his knowledge with colleagues and customers alike. He has a particular affection for Islay whisky, especially Ardbeg. Duncan is one of our longest-serving staff members, and the shop simply wouldn’t be the same without him.
